None of the packages I found use brave-browser as an icon name but I'll remember that if anyone else has a problem. Ta. And this is made for Plasma not Mate. There's another version of Buuf around here somewhere for GTK desktops. - Mar 16 2023

Brave shows the Buuf icon in menus and on panel here. Maybe something different in the package you're using or you've got some custom Plasma settings? I've been careful to thematically match icons according to purpose, so tarball extensions all have the same base image, graphic /music formats and so on. Terminator is therefore matched to the base terminal image. (Also used for Konsole as an example.) I carried the red from its standard icon. - Mar 13 2023

The desktop themes colors file is an odd quirk, maybe a relic from the days of KDE4. I kept this a colorscheme aware because there were gonna be more colors for it. Just never got around to it. - Jan 11 2023

Ah! Little quirk I'd forgotten about. Are you using a Plasma theme that includes a colors file? For some reason, aurorae will read colors from the desktop theme before reading from global colorscheme. - Jan 10 2023

Had another look at your screenshot, its just not reading the colorscheme properly. Are you using the tarball from my.opendesktop link? Application style shouldn't make any difference. Just posting new content, will have another look in a couple of minutes. - Jan 10 2023

It sounds like aurorae isn't reading the colors correctly. Not sure why. Maybe try re-installing manually? (Untar to ~/.local/share/aurorae/themes) Nothing else is running that conflicts? e.g., qt5ct - Jan 10 2023

I found the old colorscheme design but it needs a whole lotta effort to make it work with modern versions of Plasma. Considering how unpopular it was there's not much motivation to resurrect it. - Dec 16 2022

No idea why I changed the titlebar height (the maximized element was still 30) but its now reverted to 30. The buttons were a simple mistake in the config file. Thanks for letting me know. - Dec 12 2022

Just checked. This theme has the same dimensions as the other variants. I can't reproduce the problem here. Maybe a screenshot would help. Usually problems occur when text rendering is switched away from 96dpi as dpi seems to be considered when rendering vector bitmaps into images. - Dec 10 2022
