Needs some work. It is not yet clear if GTK4-support is needed in Gnome 40. If so, than that is a different ballgame altogether... The shell theme? Well the default seems to work well? I am not a Shell-themer. So, I have to see if I can adapt an existing gnome 40 shell-theme, whenever they become available. - Mar 27 2021

Yes, I did make a version of Desert-theme for xfce. I noticed you only need some extra code to make thunar blend in, nothing else. even the bottom panel and the menu follow the theme without extra code. Only xfwm and notification- code is needed. The biggest issue I have with xfce- distro's is their desperate desire to keep gtk2 applications. Whatever for? So they expect still gtk2 -theme support. And I do not do that anymore. True, when I started I had made xfwm theme for gtk. But my interest went to Gnome. The problem with xfce is that very old-fashioned xfwm4- window- manager. It is not suited for borderless themes. And roundness still sucks. - Feb 26 2021

True, but gtk2 required a lot of manual adaptation especially with the graphics. With 8 color-variants it becomes a tedious job.. with gtk4 around the corner and the subsequent fase out of gtk2, you will eventually look for alternatives. - Jan 28 2021

Technically a very solid theme. Works ( and looks ) well made, with eye for details. The color-scheme is daring, but well executed. I am surprised no one takes the effort trying out this theme. It is actually worth it. The themer obviously has invested a serious amount of time in it. So, please try and comment. - Jan 05 2021
