As long as the KDE desktop environment is installed on your system it doesn't matter if you actually login with XFCE or Gnome or w/e else. This theme requires KDE because it does some calls to its API. But the actual OS, the linux distro on which you are should not matter. Usually any bugs encountered are mostly upstream, which means more serious problems in SDDM itself. - Jan 05 2019

Hello arielaxionl. Sugar was designed on purpose without any avatar images. I think there are a lot of people who dislike having a picture shown on the login screen of a share system for example. Nevertheless I may consider this being an option in future releases if more people keep asking. Stay tuned!

Also as for this particular feature request, Sugar was designed on purpose with an opaque background color behind the interface coming in dark and light variants. If you like a more transparent interface please check out my Chili theme :) - Nov 03 2018

Hey, I'm really sorry for this inconvenience. This is an upstream issue with the Qt Virtual Keyboard. It's a known issue documented on the SDDM Github: https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/952
As a work around you can change the default input method in your SDDM config file. The corresponding setting is found in the [General] section. Unset the InputMethod= variable to be empty.
SDDM does not yet provide any default method for handling the virtual keyboard, so most themes that don't explicitly have this feature coded - only breeze and breeze based ones at the moment as far as i know - will not have this issue when the InputMethod was set to InputMethod=qtvirtualkeyboard. - Nov 03 2018

If you like the quality but the design is not for you I'm open for suggestions on new themes. Winter is about to come, maybe I can find spare time for more login fun. I would love to see more from your work as well! There's way too little diversity on login themes. More themes mean more choice for the community and will benefit everyone involved!

Hello pedror thank you for the love. The behavior you are mentioning is not a "problem" but rather a misunderstanding of how KDE works. Let me explain:
The login theme you can download via system settings is a customization of a program called SDDM, which is completely independent of any desktop environment (which is KDE). The themes here on opendesktop or other platforms are specifically programmed for this program/application/software or whatever you want to call it (SDDM).

When you suspend your PC the KDE Plasma desktop environment calls a programm called KScreenlocker which forms part of the KDE desktop environment itself. This program (at least for the moment) has no means of customization through theming. It can be hard coded by reprogramming system files of the KDE suite but it will be overwritten any time you update your desktop environment.

I understand the inconvenience this causes because I too and other users before would love to unify the lockscreen with the login theme. For the moment I have to tell you that I'm sorry this is not possible as of now.

Please see my response to filipedsgn below for the links to my themes. My color theme is a personalized theme with basically very light background and a very dark purple-blue foreground. If you're interested I could upload it for you. The dolphin icons are the same of the icon set mentioned in the link below, yes :) To change the icon size of the dolphin side panel just right click in some empty space in the panel and choose a different icon size from the context menu. - Jul 09 2018

Thank you. The top panel is in reality a seperate Latte dock. It's definitely the best desktop environment widget made in years and amazing things can be accomplished. (In this case make a new dock, set background to full transparency, make it span whole width and check the box about better contrast in the last config section). You can find Latte easily here on opendesktop. Together with the Plasma global menu it's now basically a vanilla Arch adaption of ElementaryOS and MacOS. The folders are made by me, you can find them here: https://www.opendesktop.org/p/1228310/
