Have you tried using something like

?

Most dark color schemes have problems with Konqueror, if a web page sets the background color, but not the foreground color. Unfortunately there are a lot of such malformed pages.

I agree with you. One of the strengths of Gnome is that they focussed on essential functions instead of overloading them.

Well, I don't like the toolbar separators. But in fact, most styles, have these separators, so I don't know why you think, that most styles don't have these.

I think these are really creative icons and they look great. However these icons are falling behind, when I have to differ between icons with sizez 22x22 and 16x16. The icons look great at a size of 32x32 and above.

The download link, leading to deviant art, makes my konqueror (KDE 3.1.3) crash on two different systems.

I tried to download it with Mozilla, however I've installed OpenOffice 1.1 RC1, which took over control over all file associations and OpenOffice cannot open a tar.gz. file. Save as... does also not work, since deviant art uses an automatic redirection for the download link :-(

We have developed our own style. Nevertheless, why shall it be forbidden to mimick other OSs? I see this more as a compliment to these OS.

As for me, I like the Aqua style, but I never would by a Mac, since it does no support the right applications for my job. And in addition to that, I would have to buy a new PowerBook on my own, while I got a x86 notebook form my company. - Aug 13 2003

problem to improve the wallpaper will be to make the SCO Logo nicely integrated. Apart from what SCO is currently doing, the SCO logo has ugly colors IMHO.

Anyway, I'm not sure, if it's worth the effort to improve this wallpaper. Leave it as it is. Anything else is waste of time, since soon you will get the answer "SCO, who?" to the question "Do you remember SCO?". - Aug 08 2003
