I've downloaded 0.3 and installed it (no previous installation), but the height/width ratio does not match on smaller panels. In fact the width is the same as if the panel is of the default height. - Jun 23 2003

No, the border is not the problem. The problem is that parts of the background are moved in the transparent background.

Maybe you should default the size of the widget to the whole screen width and only center the icons, so that you don't need to resize the widget. - Jun 18 2003

Yes!!!!

Screenshots of the Windows as Icons would be very great. I've used it with Enlightenment for iconified icons and it is way more usable than plain icons or text.

However in contrast to Enlightenment, the Icons will also represent active tasks. So I guess, that the ScreenshotIcon of the active window must be updated every couple of seconds. - Jun 18 2003

there are a few things that hinder my from using it:

1) The taskbar always show all Windows on all Desktops. It should be configurable to only show the windows on the current desktop.

2) I can't determine, which Window is iconified and which not (Maybe you could make the icon of an iconified icon translucent).

3) It takes a lot of CPU

4) The transparency of the bar does not play nicely with the background of the wallpaper. - Jun 17 2003

That's how the original Axios theme looked like and that's what I wanted to achieve. However IceWM requires all borders to have the same width and therefore I didn't find out, how to do that cleanly. It's pretty complicated to explain. If you can give me a hint, I will do it exactly like in the original: http://themes.freshmeat.net/projects/axios/

I think this is a religious question: Do you prefer multiple Windows or just one Window?

For people coming from the Windows world, one Window might be the better solutions.

But people that are used to the Mac might prefer the traditional Gimp.

Well, I like the traditional Gimp, because I do not have one big window that occupies my desktop and hides other applications. However apps like Gimp are much more usable, if you set the focus policy to 'focus follows mouse'. And then multi-window apps require 'real' window managers like enlightenment, not such things like kwin with limited functionality. - May 22 2003

Hi,

I haven't tried it yet, since I have a rather slow machine and I guess it takes too much performance.

Anyway... I see that all themes are written for specific resolutions. This is bad especially for Laptop Users that have to change the resolution frequently (external monitor).

What about beeing able to place several sections in a theme file that are resolutions dependent, e.g.
