@fafomemo

appreciate the feed back !

regarding your question about the shell shadow its more of a personal design choice when i first started developing the theme but its something thats relatively easy to change as far as the font is concerned thats also something i decided early on and is also relatively easy to change if there is enough demand for a flat shell theme then i don't see any issue in offering one.

hi appreciate the feed back!

theming for Firefox is unfortunately separate from the actual theme and as a result you get inconstancies.

I agree but for now its a good solution if you have the right icon theme as well, in answer to your question i am planning to make it default white in a future release but as you can understand there is a lot of code to analyse and make sure there wont be any conflicts, hope this helps.

hi appreciate the feed back!

in answer to your question, the panel inherits colours from the currently selected GTK+ theme. You can view and change the current GTK+ theme by going to the panel Settings → Appearance and then select a solid colour ( e.g white ) in short the panel will default to a dark panel.

if you want to change the colour its really simple You can also access panel preferences by right clicking on your panel and going to Panel Settings and then when the dialogue pops up click on the → Appearance tab and then select a solid colour of your choice, hope this helps.

hi appreciate the feed back!

regarding your issue there is going to be a update soon to address some of these issues ill be loading up a virtual machine and hope fully fix these issues just keep an eye out for the update.
just to make you aware this was a major update to the theme as I’ve added legacy support for multiple OS and desktop environments but hopefully in the next couple of releases these minor issues should all be fixed.

ah i think i know what you mean now, well the bar i think your referencing to is called plank its not the actual dash/dock that comes with gnome and it has a theme applied to it and in regards to the min/max/close question I’m not exactly sure what you mean by "its not part of your theme" do you mean it doesn’t show on Debian Gnome 3.22

Hi ManjaroCinnamonFan

Thanks for your input negative or positive, as a new contributer to the open source community I felt it was time to take things I like from the themes I use and modify them in a way which suited me, then redistribute them to the community and hope they like my style/version of the themes I use.

Which brings me on to my next point regarding open source and why any of us do it, as you have Ive taken a theme and tried to improve upon it by adding design elements which I think enhance the original theme, just as you've done, and id like to bring to your attention to the GPL

“ Developers that use the GNU GPL protect your rights with two steps:
(1) assert copyright on the software, and (2) offer you this License
giving you legal permission to copy, distribute and/or modify it. “

regarding the osx fonts and top panel osx bar these two things are meant to resemble not imitate as this would be a clear violation of copyright law, as for the fonts they have been added to the css code for any who chooses to add them to there system.

I would finally like to bring to your attention as to why we do it and I think you will agree its because we want to improve open source software and enhance the open community to the best of our ability and I think this collaborative mentality would not just go far in software but in the world in general.

Kind Regards
