Description:As well, don't be confused by the name - or even the basic color scheme. This not your ordinary PUNK. You get more PUNK color; more structural depth and richness in detail, here. Based on the standard PUNK color palette; virtually nothing is left un-PUNKED; and all with an attitude that can only be PUNK - but harder! Those looking for a softer landing into the PUNK-zone may want to look into our less-PUNKed-out, PUNK-Sweet - over in the GTK section: "https://www.pling.com/p/1314525/" and Icons: "https://www.pling.com/p/1314524/". Otherwise, here we go!
The GTK, xfwm4, openbox-3, and GNOME-Shell theme represents a careful blending of Material Design elements, in tandem with those of minimalist artist Rafa Capoci, cursor designer Wojciech Kalinowski, and full-stack web-developer/themer Pavel Agarkov.
This is the matching desktop theme.
FOR ICONS & FOLDERS PRESS DEFAULT IMAGE ABOVE.
The Suru-grounded icon set was initially designed and developed by Sam Hewitt - under GPL3. The original Suru icon set and concept was created by Matthieu James - Canonical Design Team. Core developers are Andrea Bonanni (original author) and Gustavo Costa . Devices icons are inspired by La Capitaine created by Keefer Rourke - under GPL3/MIT. Emoji icons are derived from the Twenoji created by Twitter Team - under MIT. Some icons are based on Numix mimetypes icons created by the Numix Team - under GPL3. Devices and places icons and several apps icons are inspired by Papirus icons created by Alexey Varfolomeev - under GPL3. Numberless icons are from Gravit Designer, under GPL3/MIT.
Manual Installation Is Easy:
For themes: 1) Extract the "tar.xz" file into your "~/.themes/" folder - to install for current user only - or into the "/usr/share/themes/" folder - for the theme to be applied globally. 2) Use the GNOME Tweak Tool or an equivalent app to enable it for your desktop.
If installing manually, make sure to install the dependency: "Murrine theme engine" if you do not already have it; and update your GTK+packages if you have not.
For icons: 1) Extract the "tar.xz" file into your "~/.icons/" folder - to install for current user only - or into the "/usr/share/icons/" folder - for the icons and folders to be applied globally. 2) Use the GNOME Tweak Tool or an equivalent app to enable them for your desktop.
For Cursors: 1) Same as with the icons, extract the "tar.xz" files into your "~/.icons/" folder - to install for current user only - or into the "/usr/share/icons/" folder - for the cursors to be applied globally. 2) Use the GNOME Tweak Tool or an equivalent app to enable them for your desktop.
Logging out and then logging back in may be necessary on some operating systems to fully implement themes, icons, and cursors.

10 10 the best you did this good for finally. A big long hole year to wait. Thanks you man!!
You're welcome; and, thank you!
I love this theme, but the GNOME Shell theme is broken on Ubuntu 20.04, specifically the menus end up with weird white sections that don't go with the rest of the theme.
That theme is has not been updated for a year - pretty much abandoned for lack of interest from the masses. Nevertheless, a tiny group of avid fans used to exists. @tsbarnes, I have been in the throes of my dissertation for several months, now, and it would be me vs another team member who would do the updating. Hence, if you give me a week or less, I will get you a new version up here. Best, Randall Lewis
Okay, @tsbarnes, here is the new version. We tested the older version, and it still works best for distros that use OS versions which are not as new as yours, Hence, we are leaving it up here, so, be careful to download the one that says (for 3.36-3.38). Thanks for using PUNK!
Thank you, I really appreciate the update :)
You bet!
Guys, can you help me? I'm on Ubuntu 18.04 and when I apply this awesome theme check-boxes in my system dialogues doesn't show up...
Sure, we'll tweak that for you, and get the checkboxes to make a border. That will be done within a couple of days. In the mean time, you can go get a Punk-Sweet GTK file here: https://www.pling.com/p/1314525 It does not do as much coloring vis-a-vis small elements, but I think the checkboxes are bordered. Thanks for using the theme.
10 10 il migliore Hi RTL88, great works in all punk series… About this ultimate, I'd like to see the checkbox in my xfce and a bigger version of cursor , I think it was good for many people :) https://imgur.com/uerhdRw.png
Awesome theme! Thank you. Easy install, Works out of the box no issues. More complete than most other themes. Very well done. I just have one suggestion... Make the text colour a bit brighter. Its hard to see on higher resolution screens. One of the best themes available, hands down!

@lbdesign, that is nice matching wallpaper! If you made it, feel free to upload some here on the site. You can use the logos and such, and do your own product, or you can put a link on this page for me to include with the different PUNK-Theme packages I publish here. Thanks for the support!
I'm just a ricer boy, but I would if I made it. Keep up the great work.
