Hi.. When I install it, the pointer is not selectable from the list? why??? I've downloaded 10 mouse themes, but just 5 appear to select mouse pointer? Any Idea? Thanx - Great Work!
Yea, its pretty good. How hard is it for the maker to say HOW TO install and HOW TO remove? I think they don't know how to install/remove it so they leave it for us to HACK around, for example (on Ubuntu) I went to System/Preferences/Appearance and while on the Theme tab I selected Install and browsed to the Gzip file and it installed it and asked me if I wanted to activate this Theme...and I said NO because I didn't want to loose the THEME (window frames, icons, colors) I spent so long configuring... Then I went to customize my Theme so I can select what Pointer to use, and low and behold, there is no pointer. Of course I cannot re-install it overtop of its directory, wherever that is, cuz it error's and tells me cant overwrite directory. So I searched, found where it resides (home/user/.icons) and deleted that directory (CG) so I could re-install it and say YES to activate that theme. It did not change any of my current theme, but when I went into customize my theme, there was the new Pointer. I wonder how many people will say NO to activating that theme for fear they may have to re-do all their settings again. =============================================================================== Here are the installation instructions courtesy of me... On Ubuntu go to System/Preferences/Appearance and on the Theme tab select Install and browse to the location of the Gzip file you downloaded. When asked if you want to activate this theme now, say YES. To remove, delete the folder located at home/USER/.icons/CG (replace USER with your username).
Would it be possible to make a dark yellow cursor version? I mean, a dark yellow transparent cursor background instead of grey. That'd be great with dark themes.
Sorry for my bad english. I install it as all other themes without problems but it doesn't appear in the cursor menu. I cannot select it. Wy ?
I really like this mouse theme. It fits perfectly with my current desktop configuration. Awesome work!
how i install it
Appearance -> Theme -> Install... Very nice theme!! I really like this one :D.
I seriously have no idea why but when I always apply this theme it always broken my system to an extent that every time I try to type anything anywhere (even at password login) always restart my x server for no reason.
Very nice mouse theme good work, works out great with my glass icons.
I can't install this theme, Others themes have 3 things: cursors Source & index.theme, this only have 2; cursors & index.theme. I think this is the problem.
At first I thought the loading animation was too subtle. Its just right. For Firefox users: I cant remember what fixed the loading cursor in Firefox for me. Maybe it was a reboot.
It is the best Mouse theme!!!
This cursor theme is very nice. I love the little animation when the pointer turns into a cursor for editing text ^_^ (I set up an account here just to tell you that)
with jeffp, but could you maybe upload this theme with half cursor size too?
everything is pretty perfect, except there isn't a "grab" action to this cursor.
Oh, Ok, Cheers, it solved it ;) Great theme.
Whenever I use it outside Mozzila it goes to the previous cursor. And when I use Mozzila it goes back to the chrome. Why?
What version of Linux are you using? If it's Ubuntu Gutsy (I had this problem in there as well) you have to go into your Compiz manager and manually change the cursor theme to CG.
I think that it is very good cursors, but they are too transparent.
If I was a bird, These are the wings I would of loved to be born with!
just wanted to leave my thanks. i NEVER change my mouse cursor although it doesnt stop me from looking every now and then. most "neat" or "innovative" mouse cursors still look totally out of place on a desktop. yours on the other hand looks great on a multitude.
Wow, this is impressive! I like the subtle animations you've added! Great work! Thank you!
