Description: MPD Now Playing is a simple client plasmoid for the Music Player Daemon.
How to install:
Make sure you have libmpdclient installed (including development files).
Extract the archive, change to the extracted folder and type
mkdir build && cd build cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kf5-config --prefix` .. make make install (as root)

Does not work. Install using "Discover" and "Get new widgets" but it does not appear in widget list.

Ok so it's interessent the only one with mpd and now playing skin. Good job.
Do it's work with amarok to?
No. But a "now playing" plasmoid for Amarok is already included in KDE SC. This one is really meant as an equivalent for MPD users.
