Description:
After initial BusyTasks for KDE 4 and BusyTasksPlasmoid for Plasma 5
this project eventually arrived at Plasma 6 (and Qt 6)! The C++ plugin is the same as for Plasma 5, QML was adapted.
It's a small monitor that displays the most active process for each of the four computer components: processor, memory, harddisk and network.
Similarly to my other apps, it uses iotop and nethogs as data sources.
It is intended and optimised for use in a horizontal control bar!
There are thousands of downloads, but not a single comment/rating - please give some feedback!
Note that this version only works correctly with wayland!

REQUIREMENTS:
IOTOP or IOTOP-c
NETHOGS
Both programs are usually easy to install with the help of your package manager.

You need to set the superuser password in the configuration in order to start iotop and nethogs. For more documentation, please see the manual.

TESTED ON
openSuse TW [October 2024]
Fedora 40
Manjaro 24
Last changelog:

4.6

Additional features:
– show process ID in process overview
– new window for data visualization (bar graph)

Removed feature
– deleted small bar graph in main view
