Se ve bien, aunque creo que la funcionalidad real pasaría por añadir botones de control de reproducción.
Cuenta con botones que se activan al pasar el puntero por encima de la imagen de portada

The version for Plasma 6 has just been added, it is not a port, it was more of a rewrite with the same result. should now be available in the widget store. or if you know how to install manually here is the link https://store.kde.org/p/2163368/
