10 After the unusual installer, it works amazingly, I really love it

7 It can't be used as a separate window without using an override KWin window rule, it requires manual download of a dependency, and occasionally temporarily fails to detect my AOC monitor.

I'm currently working on it.

8 It doesn't allow itself to be pinned, and the icon doesn't resize consistent to most else on my panel, but the plasmoid is mostly without fault.

It sounds like you use this widget from the 'add widget' menu, try to pin it to the system tray as described here: https://github.com/davidhi7/ddcci-plasmoid#integrate-into-systemtray.

Indeed, that was the problem! Thanks.

10 This is great. Perfect for simple info displays, still fancy and colorful when you want it to be.
