Once I installed it via AUR, the appimage also was starting :)
So I removed my installation and tried out the appimage again; looks like it needs two packages as dependencies, opusfile-0.12-2 and sdl2_mixer-2.6.2-1. Now the appimage keeps working.

Does not start on Manjaro KDE 21.3.7; glibc 2.36 is installed. Any idea?

What message do you get when you try to run it in terminal? I would like to know what the problem is so I can fix the AppImage

Such a classic, would you be willing to create an Arm build of this as well? I'd be happy to test it out on my Raspberry Pi
