Description: Another stupidly simple KDE Plasma 6 widget to monitor the power consumption of your CPU (only) in real time.
This is a fork of https://github.com/atul-g/plasma-power-monitor. The original measures the battery power consumption while this extension measures power consumed by the CPU.
It uses Intel's RAPL interface to get the energy usage of the processor and calculates the power usage based on the readings.
To install this, right click on the desktop, click on `Add Widgets`, select `Get New Widgets`, select `Download New Plasma Widgets` and search for `CPU Power Monitor`. Install it by pressing the install button.
This plasmoid can be added to both the desktop and the taskbar.
*Info: This plugin worked fine when I installed it on my mum's AMD Ryzen 5 5600H laptop. I wanted to log what error it would throw with an AMD CPU but, it worked just fine. If you have an AMD system, I request you to test it on your machine and report your findings on the github repo -> issues section or in the comment section below. tqLast changelog:
