show program's version number and exit

-h, --help

show this help message and exit

-m Compact Disc|Vinyl|Cassette|DVD, --medium=Compact Disc|Vinyl|Cassette|DVD

set medium for each entry

-t SECONDS, --timeout=SECONDS

set socket timeout

-r NUMBER, --retry=NUMBER

set number of retries for each connection

-n NUMBER, --number-of-hits=NUMBER

set the number of hits returned

-c, --no-covers

do not download covers

-f, --fast

fast album title search (limited information)

-a TITLE, --album-title=TITLE

search album title

-u URL, --update-url=URL

update from amg url


* Entries are tracked by their AMG URL. To update existing entries in your database that don't have their amg-url set yet, you can either add a fresh entry from AMG and merge or do a fast update by Album Title.

* See first screenshot for preferred settings.

* It's not advised to do a Full Internet Search, either with or without covers. Most of the time allmusic.com is pretty slow and a full search is just not workable.
