Once the theme is unpacked make a backup of the file: theme.txt to be on the safe side. trombonesteve To change where the menu is positoned edit the file: theme.txt Goto line 14, change the percentage to a lower value. The lower the value the more to the left the menu will be placed. left= 5% and width = 80% looked ok to me, but you can have it any way you want. thankarezos As above but goto line 36 and comment it out by putting a # at the start of the line. Done. To aviod having to reboot all the time just to test your changes install grub-theme-preview if you haven't already, go here: https://github.com/hartwork/grub2-theme-preview Very handy bit of software if you like to tinker with grub themes and make your own.
How can I change the position of the menu to the left side instead of the right?
is there any way to remove the messege in down corner? ruins the slick look
