Description:
INSTRUCTION (tested on Mandriva 2010.1):

download and extract the image and open the terminal
login as root and type:

cp -i IMAGE_PATH/IMAGENAME.jpg /usr/share/gfxboot/themes/Mandriva-Free/back.jpg

grub-gfxmenu --update-theme

Can you help mi with install on kubuntu 10.10? i dont know how install it because way to folder, where you write, i cant find. please help

You'll have to replace "Mandriva-Free" from the cp command's path, if you are using Mandriva One, and gfxboot course. To verify this you may check the contents of your /usr/share/gfxboot/themes/ folder before executing the cp command.
