Compiled from source, not a modified message.suse.
gfxboot*.deb needs to be installed to compile from source.
Run make bootdir to compile(message file in boot dir)
Requires:
http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/grub-gfxboot+for+Ubuntu+i386?content=71648
Installation:

Last step should be:
