The colors that I have chosen for these icons are taken from combinations of interior furnishings and paintings that go out of fashion lately, because I want to make your desktop a welcoming place!

Those are some slick folders! My only complaint is a personal taste issue, I wish the video, music, download, etc. folders were on the sides with the icon coming out of the folder ala windows, it's more visually interesting and eye catching then solid colors with engraved (embossed?) icons. Looking forward to future releases!

Kind of like the first screenshot, except using the same style and color for folders your already using. This would just make important folders more identifiable at a glance. https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1167936/ Maybe use Papirus icons for the music, video, etc. To go along with your folders. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
