10I love this plasmoid and I rely on it every day. Hopefully, this plasmoid will be ported to Plasma 6 because I would hate to have to say goodbye to this gem.
I only have the log,o date, and system version on SolydK12 with Plasma 5.27.5. I tried compiling from source but got complaints that the cmake compiler was missing despite adding all the dependencies I could find.
8Thank you, this is old but gold.
Is there a way to get rid of the logos, or maybe add a .png of your liking instead?
I would also like to change the colors, that would be an awesome setting to adjust it to your wallpaper.
Even more awesome would be importing the Accent Color automatically from the wallpaper like some Plasma icon themes or widgets already can.
I've just upgraded to KUbuntu 22.04 and this plasmoid has stopped to work. But I really like it.. and.. thanks God.. the solution to fix this ksysguard-related issue is simple (at least, now). You need to:
1. download http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/k/ksysguard/ksysguardd_5.18.4.1-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb
2. install it with "sudo dpkg -i ksysguardd_5.18.4.1-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb"
3. relogin
And that's it. The origin of this receipt can be seen at https://askubuntu.com/questions/1409715/kubuntu-22-04-thermal-monitor-broken-cannot-see-cpu-and-sdd-temperatures
Hello everyone, help a newbie in KDE, only the date, time and kernel version are displayed, how to debug so that everything works. Where and what to fix. OS OpenSUSE
88 great....One of my all time favorite widgets. Unfortunately, will no longer work with Kubuntu 22.04. You can still make it work by installing ksysguardd deb file from impish repo. Use at your own risk. Doesn't correctly report memory usage. In the meantime I use the built-in system monitor sensor widgets
KSysGuard was deprecated and removed from (K)Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, breaking this monitor which I absolutely loved.
Hopefully someone can adopt this project, which saw its last update 5 years ago according to Github.
This works even for the latest versions of KDE Plasma : 5.23.5
The important thing to keep in mind is the installation of package dependencies. I had to look into the code to figure it out.
For instance, attributes such as
"mem/physical/total"
"mem/physical/free"
"mem/physical/available"
is used in the package KSysguard.
So, go ahead and install the following packages and reboot/log back in for the QML objects to draw properly.
# dnf install ksysguard.x86_64 libksysguard.x86_64 libksysguard-devel.x86_64
# dnf install lm_sensors.x86_64
Install package dependencies. Too bad it's not listed in the description of this plasma widget.
# dnf install ksysguard.x86_64 libksysguard.x86_64 libksysguard-devel.x86_64
# dnf install lm_sensors.x86_64
Works great on all my Ubuntu-based distros. But doesn't work on either of my Opensuse Tumbleweed installs---in the sense that it seems unable to retrieve disk usage information, etc.... All fields but the clock are essentially blank. Not sure if there are missing dependencies? I tried compiling but got into the usual dependency rabbit hole with compiling and I'm not as familiar with Opensuse repositories. I gave up after cmake complained about kf5pasma module or some such thing... endless Googling. Just FYI I guess...
I am having the same problem on Tumbleweed and also on Mageia Cooker where it used to work until a recent update, which suggests that something the widget depends on has changed. Also, I note that the widget has not been updated since 2017.
Works fine and is very close to exactly what I wanted. I have 40 CPUs, yet it is a list. I would like it to be either two columns of 20 cpus, or 4 columns of 10 cpus. I found no way to edit those features, only to change the background or translucence.
I got it to install by following the manual install instructions at https://www.maketecheasier.com/install-plasmoids-in-kde/ (had to use the last resort). The images are broken in the widget selector but it does work.

Hi, very good program. I have been using it for many years. Can you adapt it to Plasma 6?

1 Kubuntu 22.04 - not working. No CPU, no Memory data, only date and logo.
Arch Linux with KDE 1. Was it caused by a lack of access permission?
8 8 great, I really enjoy this system monitor. However, I wish I could have more icons, for example the Debian one...

Also not working on my KDE Neon install (20.04 based). Since Tumbleweed

Not working on plasma 5.22.2 sadly.
