Nice extensions, works fine on 3.0.8 version on Windows. Is it possible to make the message "resume ?" appears longer at the top of the window ? Thank you
Thanks. Vlc itself makes this message indepenently of this extension, btw there are options (press Ctrl-p). progress is an independent mode to resume with asking.
Recently I have been installed window 10 on my laptop and now I install a VLC media player and recently I tried to play video through VLC media player then it gives error then I took assistance from Windows Technical Support team through https://www.windowstechnicalsupportnumbers.com/ and they assisted me nicely in short period of time.
You mean it only works with 3.0.2 and no other? Not 3.0.0 or 3.0.3 ? Isn't that kind of inconvenient to have to uninstall the version you have and go off in search of 3.0.2 exclusively?
It might work with 3.0.x or 3.x.y as well, but it is not tested and hence not supported.
It might work with 3.0.x or 3.x.y as well, but it is atm not tested and hence not supported.
Thanks for reporting. The related documention (for vlc lua extionsion) does not indicate a breaking change. I have just asked in the forum for help, but don't hold your breath.
It doesn't seem to be loading my video file to the previous playback position on 2.1.4 and osx. It does load the last played file into the playlist when I click the extension. But when I start playing it back it just starts from the beginning. Am I doing something wrong?
Probably, You do nothing wrong, but, I cannot reproduce the bug here (I am not on osx though).
Even the playback should start automaticly after activating Progress, so, it could be an encoding problem (first guess).
More information could help, so maybe you could answer some questions:
- Populate the playlist with two or more files.
- Activate Progress.
- Change playing positions and tracks. Q1: Does Progress resume positions?
- Deactivate Progress.
- Clear Playlist.
- Activate Progress. Q2: Does Progress populate the playlist correctly?
Q3: What is the locale of your machine?
