but today I decided to upload something myself

This is 2 screenshots of my current notebook that I use as a Linux desktop.
It's running Kubuntu 6.04 Alpha 4,
and I'm satisfied with the way things are working out,
before my OS always used to be pure Debian,
but I'm not scared of trying new innovations,
as long as I don't have to give up the apt-get system along with all the other good Debian thingies

(Debian is still running as a little test server

So, about the screenshots . . .
Window manager: KDE 3.5.1
Font: Bitstream Charter (Anti-Aliased)
Style: QtCurve
Color: Some greenish thing I made myself

Windeco: Alphacube 0.3
Grey icons with color-overroll

(done by using "kcontrol -> appearance & themes ->Icons -> Advanced")
The only thing I hate now is that I can't get XGL to work properly with my ATI Mobility Radeon X700

Added third screenshot:
* VLC Media Player showing a pretty neat GTK-QT skin; Playing The Lion King 2 DVD, I'm a fan of that kind of 2D animation!
* Messing with /dev in Konsole
* Chatting on Mercury Messenger 1911 beta5b
And I have a new windeco because Alphacube tended to act weird at times
