Description: Well i'm using Suse 10.1 with 96 dpi. The Dpi setting is crucial in getting really crisp fonts. The main font on the Screen is Segoe UI from vista which vastly improves the visibility. You can google for it on the net. Using the Polyester Style with Crystal Window Decorations. The icon set is Crystal Clear by Everaldo. Polyester is available from http://anorien.csc.warwick.ac.uk/mirrors/suse-apt/10.1-i386/RPMS.suser-guru/kde3-style-polyester-0.9.2-1.guru.suse101.i686.rpm The Icon Set is available on Everaldo.com.

Funny you should mention Car brands, I'd like to say that i took a stock car and modified it and customized it to my liking ! you can't do that with mercs or any other cars. Linux is customizable to an insane limit
actually the reason for doing all this was to simplify my interface. The next best thing i liked was the new vista interface. This has nothing to do with copying or imitating vista. I prefer a different interface that's why i opted to change to that. I think that's what linux stands for, do whatever you want to with it ? You don't get just stuck with the same ol interface. You can change it to your liking. And that's the beauty of it.
The thing about linux is that everyone's tastes can be satisfied. If someone wants their box to look like MacOSX, go for it. If they want it to look like Windoze, have at it. It is all about tastes. Linux has no set look, and that's part of it's greatness.

So does your Windows computer look like linux? This is like buying a Cadillac and putting Ford emblems on it.
