Quassel2Go
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
"Quassel is a program to connect to an IRC network. It has the unique ability to split the graphical component (quasselclient) from the part that handles the IRC connection (quasselcore). This means that you can have a remote core permanently connected to one or more IRC networks and attach a client from wherever you are without moving around any information or settings." (from http://qt-apps.org/content/show.php/Quassel+IRC?content=111241)
Quassel's architecture is especially suitable for mobile use where one has to cope with unreliable connections, limited bandwidth, and limited hardware resources.
Quassel2Go is a user interface based on the quasselclient desktop version.
The focus of the mobile UI is to preserve the seamless chat experience of the desktop UI. It tries to provide excellent small screen device usability, in addition to proper mobile platform integration.
Quassel2Go participates at the Qtest Mobile App Port Contest with friendly permission from the authors of the original desktop application.
Quassel2Go is available in the Ovi store: http://store.ovi.com/content/87685 !! It takes some time for releases to get available there. It's recommended to download new releases from here !!

Perfect, thanks a lot. I had always loved to have a reliable IRC Client for Nokia Phones. Really looking forward to see this in OVI for MeeGo :-).
