Unfortunately preinstalled with Fedora 24 web browser fails to start and drops the entire operating system. Maybe crooked a complete package. Maintainer'm mantainer`s to distribution Russian Fedora 24 with a request to correct the error and upload in the repository a working package.
Normally I use Konqueror for some special pages, chromium for searching things and firefox for banking and secure operations.
But QupZilla is very fast, configurable and minimalistic and most pages work with QupZilla, so I need chromium no longer.
My idea for a new feature in QupZilla:
Konqueror has the very powerful feature to switch to every other browser, which is installed, via context menu. I miss this feature in every other bowser: specially in chromium.
One question: If I deselect the options to store html5 and cache, is the RAM is used for a browse-session instead?
I test since yesterday QupZilla under different conditions (Proxy, no proxy, cache, no cache, ...) and I must say: This is a really fast browser! Much faster and better then Rekonq, faster than Chromium and all other browsers.
Kpartsplugin works too.

true. many useful functions. has become my main browser. needs more extensions. can it use extensions from other browsers? I want it to sort my bookmarks by by name: automatic is preferred.

I don't have problem in QupZilla because its work but i want to build them in my QT creator there are six erreur
1) expected class-name before '{' token
this erreur in spellcheck.h exactly class SpellCheck : public QWebSpellChecker i think dont know QWebSpellChecker
2)erreur : 'GrammarDetail' was not declared in this scope exact void checkGrammarOfString in spellcheck.h
3)erreur : 'SpellChecker' was not declared in this scope exact ext == SpellChecker in qtwebkitplugin.cpp
4)erreur : cannot convert 'SpellCheck*' to 'QObject*' in return exact return new SpellCheck(); in qtwebkitplugin.cpp
and two erreur like erreur 1 and 3
Windows build now requires QtWebKit 2.3.
You can manually disable it by commenting line 18 in src/lib/lib.pro:
From:
include(plugins/qtwebkit/qtwebkit-plugins.pri)
To:
#include(plugins/qtwebkit/qtwebkit-plugins.pri)
Then you'll probably be able to compile it.
Building on Windows is complex task.
You should use precompiled binaries, and if you want to use somehow current code from git, there is precompiled testing build on blog.

i am seriously surprised by the quality of this browser.
It wasn't that good a few years ago but now it has so much features that i am using it as my standard browser.
Unlike other qt based browsers, this one doesn't freeze the whole ui until the website is loaded and spell checking is on the way too.

a new plugin use umplayer or mplayer itself to view and run flash and other types of videos instead of a flash plugin itsself and you can have the browser use the systems flash for rendering elements that are non videos like adds and stuff if someone doesn't want them blocked
Hi! Some websites, e.g. google, doesn't look like chrome/firefox because they understand that the browser uses qt-webkit. Can you add an option that permits you to identify as firefox/chrome/ie?

i pronounce it as [kjuːzilɑ:] or [k^pːzilɑ:]. the first one, similar to cutezilla, but t is silent the second one, similar to cupzilla

Hi, if you deselect those options, the corresponding HTML5 features will be disabled.

After rekonq and midori its nice to finally have a stable webkit browser. Well done on the interface. Voted up.

It's not yet included in stable release, but it was in git for a week already. Please check first git repository next time.
