DiaCanvas2 is a diagram widget for GTK. Development has been suspended. If you're looking for a nice diagramming widget, consider Gaphas (http://gaphor.devjavu.com/projects/gaphor/wiki/Subprojects/Gaphas). Gaphas is much more extensible than Diacanvas and is written in Python (http://python.org).
