Xara Xtreme is a fully featured vector and bitmap graphics editor, with a slick user interface, and an immensely fast graphics rendering engine. Xara Xtreme (formerly Xara LX) is port of the Windows package of the same name. The version was released for Linux in October 2005, and released under the GPL in March 2006. Since then, the port has reached version 0.7 and now supports nearly all the features of the commercial Windows version, plus sme additional enhancement. The application uses the wxWidgets toolkit. Xara seek additional help from the community for further development.
