Description: SerLooK is a KDE application for inspecting data going over serial lines. It can work as a binary terminal that sends and receives data through a defined port (Point to Point mode) and displays them on separate views. Each view can be configured to display data in hexadecimal, decimal, octal, binary, and raw ASCII. It is also possible to perform I/O through terminal emulation views and define a secondary port and monitor the traffic between two external hosts using a "Y" cable (Snooper mode). The release 0.3.0 added a serial event recording and displaying feature.
The project has moved to SourceForge from SunSite.dk. The latest source tarball, 0.3.5, is present in file repository.
I'm working actually in porting serlook to KDE4, I could build the executable but is still heavily buggy so I cannot release it yet.
Once completed, i will release 0.4.0 and will load the new sources in svn.
Cheers
