Description:
Skreener is a screencast recording tool, primarily aimed at creating tutorials on how to use software. It’s closest proprietary analog is Wink.

Skreener records your actions by taking screenshots every second and then restoring the mouse cursor flow by programmatically moving cursor image over time. Resulting screencasts are in SVG format. It also provides an editor when you can modify the cursor movements and edit frames.

I recently used Wink under Windows, and found it very relevant to create screencasts--far more efficient than simply recording the screen. I am quite happy to see that a free software tool is being developped with the same concepts!
