This is the first time that I was able to do everything that I wanted in linux.

Compiz - Reflection, Cube, Rotate Cube plugin
Screenlets rendered using Compiz Widget layer (F9 to toggle screenlet visibility)
Nautilus Background - Picked up in gnome-look and customized using gimp to fit into my widescreen laptop
