Great job. This is my favorite color scheme now.
this color cheme is awesome man. three cheers for great work. can you please tell me which fonts are those in your screenie and where to get them?
wow... how did you get kicker that way looking? is it just background pixmaps for the buttons... or for the whole kicker...? where can i download this? :-)
The tiles & background I am using on my kicker, I found on kde-look about a year and half ago."Maybe Longer?" Since then I have tried looking for them again, but since it is such an old post and hasen't been updated it is really hard to find "and not to mention very time consuming to find". So instead, I have posted it on my server along with some other images I have made for people to download... NOTE: For the record I did not make the original images, which we're called "Keramik Tiles". I take no credit for them... http://www.starsurvivor.net/linux/gorilla/Gorilla_and_Keramik_Kicker_Images.tar.gz
ah.. thx sweetie, you're the best :-)
Oh yeah... Ummm... How do I manually (as in not using easy wizards and stuff) install this? I don't have KDE or Gnome, just Qt.
You know what, that is a very good question and now that you have asked it, I would also like to know the answer. Once I find it, I will post it for you... Thanx!
I'm trying to figure out the same thing myself. Found a theme that has a self-install script. It looks like you can copy the pixmaps and the colour themes and put them in : ~/.kde/share/apps/kstyle/pixmaps/ and ~/.kde/share/apps/kstyle/themes/ respectively but you might still need a program called kinstalltheme to update the pixmap cache (part of kdelibs). Hope that helps Here is the theme with the self-installing script: http://thegraveyard.org/daelstorm/tarballs/Cerebro-qt.tar.bz2
This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm not a KDE user (Or a Gnome user for that matter, either), but I use one Qt app (Apollon) that looks horrible with the rest of my GTK+2 apps using Industrial. You are god.
I was just about to upload my OWN "Industrial" colorscheme. It's been a hectic past couple of weeks, been busy . . . then again, you're posting this for a specific Style, so perhaps I'll post the colorscheme I made for Plastik. Stay tuned.
Well, perhaps the two of you should work together on an "Industrial" color-set, with various schemes? Could be real-kewl! Cheers, /G
