How do you use wine to install/use medieval total war?
You got MTW2 and RTW working under WINE? How did it perform compared to Windows?
I really don't know... I don't have windows installed on my pc... :) My system is P4 2.66GHz, 512MB RAM, GF6600SE The performance of RTW is excellent on the battle map but somewhat poor on the campaign map. M2TW performs, almost the same as RTW, but M2TW doesn't load the battle map if Shaders 2 is enabled.
Is disabling Shaders 2 really all that's necessary? I haven't tried running MTW2 in wine yet, but I was under the impression that it simply didn't work. And that it wouldn't work on cedega either, so basically I'm out of luck (or I need to use dual boot, but that counts as out of luck to me).
