hi! euh i cant compile in kde 3.2(CVS), is it too old (3.0.3 needed, it says)... maybe you can updat the look? its wonderfull, imho... blends better with mosfets liquid than normal kde windowdecoration...

Although I haven't tested it yet, looks great. I've been using Keramik window decos with Liquid because Liquid's own look a little crappy. Round buttons make it perfect.

add rounded corners for the bottom as well, it will look really good.(it already does). I kind of like the round buttons on the title bar goes pretty well with the oval title area if u aren't used to the orignal style that is :).But a lot of ppl won't so i guess its the good thing its an option. How about also putting an option for close miimize maximise symbols to appear floating in the round buttons (yes i know aqua doens't use that but its just a suggestion). Off topic but seeing kword i just wanted to ask. Does anybody know when an export filter for MS word will be ready for kword. I love kword 1.2 it's got everything i need, except this:(. (I share docs with ppl at work who use word) Good show, and thanks a million.

i think it doesn't fit all together. aqua buttons and keramik win deco and these colours as well

You can turn off the coloured buttons - its one of the options for the style. But each to their own... I only posted it as someone mentioned it from my Germik screenshots.

It fails to compile on SuSE 8.0 or 8.1. I guess I'll check it out again when it moves farther along.

It does'nt compile on RH8 too, I'm running KDE 3.0.5 on Red HAt 8.0 (updated)

CraigD

What errors are you getting? I use SuSE 8.0 - but must admit my KDE is from CVS, plus I've updated lots of libs by hand.

Hi GraigD, here r the compile errors from RH8 KDE3.0.5 qt3-gcc3.2. in directory agua : agua.cpp: In member function `void Agua::AguaClient::addButtons(QBoxLayout*, const QString&)': agua.cpp:828: `isCloseable' undeclared (first use this function) agua.cpp:828: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function it appears in.) agua.cpp: In member function `void Agua::AguaClient::menuButtonPressed()': agua.cpp:1154: no matching function for call to `KWinInternal::Workspace:: showWindowMenu(QPoint, Agua::AguaClient* const)' make[3]: *** [agua.lo] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/tmp/agua-kwin-0.01/agua' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/agua-kwin-0.01/agua' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/agua-kwin-0.01' make: *** [all] Error 2

Thanks, after seeing you Geramik screenshots, I was going to do the hack myself this wekend, but know you've gone and save me the trouble. Thanks, this is sweet. The rounded corners would have been a great addition however.

mini

Very nice, but why not have the bottom have rounded corners as well??

CraigD

1. I don't think they look nice - judging by the kwin_aqua stuff... 2. This is only a hacked/modified Keramik kwin client - it's too much hassle to do much more.
