Is it possible to get kde 3.3+ -version of this theme?
Oh yes..... Green at last. I guess it comes from my green terminal usage days, but green on black rules, so you can imagine how I feel about a matrix styled theme. Is that just a pretend shell program in your screenshot or is there a little program that does that? Yes I have the Sneaker Pimps album, and I guess it does look like this a bit. Give it a circuit board background and it might be....
bad bad bad. just wanted to install this thing to see it up close an personal-like. well lets see enabled the theme. it killed everything. not just the x session. everything. i had to reboot. [i _never_ reboot unix unless i'm installing new hardware.] then core dumps. oh yes. removed the theme. guess what? no more kde for me until i have time to fix it as its still dying. so not happy.
This theme ain't so bad... Not bad at all~~~ I kind of like dark greenish theme i guess that could be why... If anyone here knows this English band named "Sneaker Pimps", check out their first album cover. This theme reminds of the Sneaker Pimps' first album~~~ Good job~~~
When will people learn that if they want bubbley XP they should just use Windows XP. No offence is taken i hope. But, big easy to use menu's have no place in linux as far as i'm concerned. Just my personal opinion. Nice work with the dark greens though.
If you don't like it, don't use it. Simple as that. Sometimes I like good old xinit, other times I like a full fledged over-flowing-with-eyecandy desktop. To each his own. Posts like this have no place in a site whose banner image says "eyecandy for your kde-desktop." This theme is great, I wish I wasn't stuck using XP for school right now so I could use this full time. Great job.
um, you do realize that, aside for the colors, that's just Keramik, the default KDE theme. Aside for that, just because you don't like things to be easy to read and use, why shouldn't the option and ability be there for other people? This is Linux we're talking about. EVERYTHING has a place in it. If I like my desktop environment to look "big and easy to use" then that's my business. Who are you to say I can't have it that way? I'm not taking away from your ability to use a desktop environment that is not big and not easy to use. Sorry for getting off-topic, I just find it funny that people who love Linux because it has choice don't like it when UI choices don't reflect THEIR choice. Nice work - although I don't see any difference besides the colors - are you sure this isn't a color scheme? I'll have to try it out another time as I'm not on my own computer at the moment
EXCUSE me. There is NOTHING here that relates to Windows XP in any way. Big, easy to use menus did not come from XP. And besides, why should Linux have tiny unusable ones?? If you don't like eye-candy or KDE themes then go away or stop posting comments. As for the theme, I love it! I saw Matrix: Reloaded the first day it came out, and my friend got Enter The Matrix two days later so my life is quite Matrix-oriented right now :)
It says that there is no theme or themerc file. Please help. I love the Matrix Reloaded and your theme looks awesome!
You have uzip and untar the file ... tar -zxvf 6262-TMR.tar.gz Hope this helps ... Raf
I did the part from unzipping but then i get this .theme file. The problem i have is how i activate it or install it, with the new kde 3.1.1 i just cant add a own theme like u used to do with the kde 3.0.
