...but making things colorfull does not mean that children will like it for sure. It would make more sense to make a interface for them where usability is in the first place - and of cours it has to attract them by colors and nice pics! Big widgets, unambiguas signs, ...

There is a catch, it the kids are using your computer, then you can't use it!
