I've been trying to find the Futurosoft icons that you have used, but they are not in any of the icon themes available (at least not that I've been able to find).
Is there any way you can post the icon, or where exactly you found them?
just search for futurosoft or Kool icons and U will find them.
to make it easier, I give some nice openoffice icons here.

I do however have 1 idea if you dont mind.
Make it clear so that it just rests on top of your Desktop, no black or white window around it. that would be sweet!
Philip
Hello,
very nice splash, I'm using the white one now.
Only a message for not ubuntu users:
the splash image of Open Office, in a more or less standard system, should be in /opt/openoffice.org2.2/program
and likely the file name is intro.bmp
(well, in a Slackware:-)
thx
bye
