Description:
From 1758 to 1782 a French astronomer named Charles Messier created a list of about 100 deep sky objects that were often mistaken for comets.
This script takes you through a tour of the Messier objects. You will move through all of the objects stopping at each one to zoom in to see them in better detail.
To run the script, extract the archive and run messier_tour.kstars by selecting File -> Run Script... in KStars.
You need to install the Messier Thumbnail package to get the most out of this script, Select File -> Download Data and install the thumbnail package using the Get Hot New Stuff dialog. Last changelog:
