I don't like Avant Windows Navigator, it's the noob edition of mac's dock. Cairo is the answer if you are looking for a real dock!
I made this theme because most of cairo-theme are not integrated with ubuntu or better with linux, try this theme and let me know
HOWTO: Simple extract the theme into: /home/{username}/.cairo-dock/themes/

i am trying to install the dock, but in the instructions it says to add the extracted folder to /.cairo-dock/ when i search for the folder, nothing is found. is there something that i need to do to get to the containing folder?
After that u install cairo dock a folder in your home will appear. If not make it (.cairo-dock/) and make the themes dir too, you will have ~/.cairo-dock/themes/

I'm going to release a totally new Oxygen Theme, wait for new version it will work for sure!
How do you add the separator so that it sits with the dock? I have added it but it's sitting at the same level as the icons.
Go to preferences ? applet ? active rendering applet ? enter in its settings ? than select inclinated plane ? and select "Flat separators"
What are those two icons/things all the way on the right of your dock? are those mini- live window previews???!!!!???
