the global monopd-server-list is beeing maintained at monopd-gator.not-another-server.net:80 since march 2009 there seems to be only one list; more details (de): http://wiki.fbihome.de/Monopd-Gator
I have trouble reaching unixcode.org due to some DNS troubles I have been experiencing lately. Could anybody point me to a mirror where I could download the latest Atlantik sources? Thank you in advance. Sonajiso.
My bad, ADSL problems, but unixcode.org should be up and running again.
it stops oprating when i goto "select token" when running 0.6.3 using kde 3.2.3, i also tried 0.7.x but i coundnt even get a server list before it becomes ice. i'm using debian-sid
I have backported new latency checking code from the development branch, I will commit it to KDE CVS HEAD later today. This should fix your issue for the actual 0.7.0 release that will be shipped with KDE 3.3.
The horizonatal scroll bar on the screen shot looks pretty bad. Is it possible to customize the game, i.e. change the names of streets to your hometown ones ecc. ?
Yes, KListView could definitely use a wrapping mode. You can make your own boards with Atlantik Designer, which can be found in kdeaddons. You'll need your own monopd server though.
Allright, no more horizontal scrollbar, I've hacked an experimental version of KWrappedListViewItem: http://unixcode.org/img/atlantik/atlantik-20040530-kwrappedlistviewitem.png Still some issues with it, but it works well enough already to be included.
...people join. I really like this game. :)
Unfortunately there are not that many people on the public servers. Makes it difficult to try out this game...
Well, we've installed monopd on a computer and use it for LAN sessions.
well i got a server list now and there where 4 more servers making 9, and about 15ppl playing in total so its becoming better
Apparently the Monopigator server (hosted at monopd.unixcode.org) is out...therefore is not posible to find registered servers. Does any one know the URL of other monopigator servers or where to get the source code for the monopigator server? In the meanwhile, pls check a monopd server at monopd.monzu.net:1234 and e-mail me if you reach it...If somebody provides me with the monopigator source code I could hos a monopigator server for monopd servers to register.... Thx
Since Novemeber 2004 the metaserver at monopigator.unixcode.org was down. There has been a fix in CVS which changes the metaserver to monopd-gator.kde.org. I recompiled the Atlantik package for Debian, using the new monopigator server (compiled for Sid/unstable, should run on Sarge/testing) which is available at http://infrablue.mine.nu/packages Here is a forum with a little bit more info: http://fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=29591
