Description: I started using pidgin and was amazed with the lack of themes for it. I belong to a zaurus community and done some theming.
Here it is. version 1. It is just version 1. Please leave feedback. It still needs work but I need feedback from users.
I will also contribute with other themes mainly related to the black and white themes more of this artists work (mattahan) ------------------------------ installing pidgin theme to pidgin 2.3.1
really simple. In terminal, you "sudo nautilus" (ubuntu version) and you delete everything in the pidgin directory /usr/share/pixmaps/pidgin then you copy the files you downloaded into the /usr/share/pixmaps/pidgin directory replacing everything. make sure pidgin is closed completely especially from tray. ------------------------------ install instructions for newbs (for pidgin 2.3.1)! emoticon portion 1. download emoticons(second link) 2. extract into a folder(the zip and not the tar.gz files) 3. open pidgin under Tools->preferences->smiley Themes go down to add and direct to the directory to where you extracted the files and install small or large tar.gz. 4. small icons or large icons...self explanatory!Last changelog:
------------------------------ emoticons version 1->1.1 the compus was changed to a clock. it is suppose to be a clock and I missed that one.
as far as I can tell, I managed to complete the emoticons for the pidgin themes which is installable separately for those who do not wish to change the "look" but wants the emoticons. Please post any problems if any and i will change them immediately. There are 2 version. one small which is small size emoticons and one large which is large size.

I was wondering if you were intending to create an new icons. I really feel it would be nice to have emulator icon buuf'ed by you to match all kind of people. Like me.

Well, I was kindda asking if you would create icons for emulators too. Such as MAME, ePSXe, pSX, PCSX, GFCEU, Gens and such emulator availabe on linux.

hmm...I didn't create the icons. Mattahan did. I can however, produce themes for the emulators. private message me the links and in time, look through my content under my name and you'll see the stuff i pop up. I am thinking of doing these for a few applications just because I use the theme.
ohh and its not being made together. since you can download the emoticons and the pidgin theme. Some people just want the emoticons, others want the theme.
hmmm....maybee one version with all installed huh. sure why not and then ill ..well, yeah ill just make a new post with only emoticons
No worries! It's almost done. Got the taskbar icons, made custom icons using his images. It's looking really goood! Using gimp to edit icons. should be up by tomorrow night.

ill take a look and update accordingly. I might just disgard the smily theme since lots are not supported or outdated or etc.

i just installed emesen. ill have one up soon. It looks really easy to theme this up since I don't need to do it for a dozen or so messenging service.
could you work on an icon theme for status and notification icons too? that would be great and make the whole thing together.
