Description: I made these icons for the Adobe AIR app Snackr, because the icons that appear on the tray doesn't fit with the elementary-monochrome icon theme on tray.
To install it, extract the files from the zip and copy them. Then open a terminal and type the follow command:
sudo nautilus
On this Nautilus in root mode, go to /opt/Snackr/share/icons and paste the icons here.
This icon is certainly a huge improvement over the default, and fits perfectly in with the Elementary icon theme.
Question: How do you get Snackr to run without window decorations, as seen in your screenshot?
Thanks again :-)
Thanks dude! XD
I didn't understand your question, but I didn't do anything to make it run without window decorations. Your Snackr runs with window decoration? That's weird... =O. Could you send a screenshot link to see how it appears to you?
When I installed Snackr, the default behavior was for it to run with window decoration, meaning both the main RSS ticker and the various pop-up windows had a metacity title bar as well as a border around them. This obviously detracted from the overall esthetic impression of the application. Anyway, I was able to solve the problem with a bit of research. In case anyone else is having the same problem, and provided they use Compiz, they can manually exempt Snackr from having its decorations drawn by manipulating the "Window Decoration" plugin. In the field called "Decoration windows", enter "any & !(class=Snackr)". Now Snacker should no longer be decorated :-)
I was very strange that this happened to you, but I'm glad you could fix it. What I did with Compiz too was adding this line to the field "Sticky" in the Window Ruler (or rules) plugin:
name=Snackr
This way, it will show on every virtual desktop that you have.
Peace!
