Description: First(?) theme for KDM. To use KDM themes you need KDM from CVS (KDE 3.4) then edit /usr/share/apps/kdm/kdmrc to set UseTheme=true and Theme=/path/to/theme
How do i get this to work? I have posted elsewhere that even with compiling 3.3.92 beta2 from source, I am unable to set the theme as described above.
Any hints?
PS: I have changed the default settings for "Login manager" in KDE Control Center. Could that be the problem?
it looks good, but it looks like GDM. Well I'd really like to know what differences there are also. Or is is just compatible with GDM themes and this screenshot/theme isn't demostrating the unfinished features of up coming KDM. :)
man, that looks good! but there are still some bugs, aren't there? at least your screenshot shows them...the user and time-variables aren't displayed correctly. but i still looks awesome :) would be one reason to get kdm back running =)
Yes, plenty of small problems still to be sorted out, most gnome themes don't work properly yet.
The screenshot was taken with kdmthemer from kdenonbeta which is why the $USER bit doesn't show properly. In KDM it doesn't show at all.
KDM themes are still very cool though.
