Description: Small footprint pop3 mailbox checker for SuperKaramba. Can open your Email client by clicking the 'icon'. Written in python.Last changelog:
Version 1 seems bug free. Of course ymmv.
Version 1.0.1 is just some changes to the readme to make it more coherent.
Sorry. I've get it. I forgot to write the *.py path.
I'm glad to get it running. this is exactly what I was looking for. Something light and discret for my desktop.
Congratulations for the author.
P.D: Sorry for my english.
I must congratulate you on designing an excellent theme. I was looking for something like this. As for the people complaining about it showing "all" messages. This can easily be fixed. In KMail (if this is the client you use) under the pop server, select "Delete Messages from Server after Fetching." This way when the theme is looking for messages on the server it sees zero. You have your messages in your inbox still though. Now it will only report to you the new emails on the server. Enjoy!

I have been waiting for this little gem for a long time. It is simple looks great and does a very practical chore for me.
Have set up two separate ones for different accounts.
Thank You Thank you Thank You!!!!!!!!
I'm glad you like it. I do the same thing with multi mailboxes. I'm thinking about making a version that can check multi boxes with one instance of the widget. If I get it done, I'll post it up.
It only reads how many messages are stored on the mailserver. It doesn't interface with a local mailreader in any way, so if you have mail that is left on the server it will count it
Hi in your read me file you say :
at the bottom of the file, you'll see a line:
('pop3.mailserver.url', 'username', 'password', f_oc),
That I must edit those... What is f_oc ??? What must I put there ?

This theme is good. But there's a problem. It displays how many messages I've in my mailbox, not how many NEW messages I have. Why?
It only reads how many messages are stored on the mailserver. It doesn't interface with a local mailreader in any way, so if you have mail that is left on the server it will count it

don't edit f_oc . I meant the username, password and mailserver. Sorry bout that
Nice! This is something I didn't realize I needed till I saw it. Now I will use it all the time. Thanks!!
Glad you like it! Any suggestions for other karamba themes ? Now that I've fooled with it I kinda enjoy making them :)
