I think this is great, if all you need is functionality, it is perfect.

PS Is it possible to disable things like the text based menu at the bottom and replace that with (eg) OSX bar but still keep the other aspects?
I like the look. I don't think I'd use it on my desktop but its absolutly perfect for my servers. no extra clutter, just the information you need (after adding some sys info).
I tried to download it and its just a screenshot. Where can I get the karamba script? I'd also like that wallpaper too, where can I find that?

It might be quite FAST, but... all the SK power sleeps in graphics, don;t you think?
I disagree. The power of superkaramba is that it enables the average (nongeek) person the ability to customize their desktop. It may be a full blown eye candy party with scripts galore or a minimal display of system information. The botton line is that this will be useful for some people, especially those with minimal resources and that makes it worth posting here. We should be encouraging people to create more themes and offer constructive critisism for their further development.
Have you posted anything? Your probably like me. No time, no talent and no desire to construct a theme ourselves. I suggest we both keep that in mind when we comment on other's work. :)

But, still I remain with my opinion - it is useless do do things like that with SK - if you REALLY need that - use Karamba - what do you need python here for?

ya, its possible to remove the theme and add any theme you like. The Drop, I found in wall paper section, with name Interactive pool...... Enjoy.,
