How add an rrs? Where?
I open everything fine, all graphics show up, but no weather alerts. Then I looked at Slashdot as you say that you based it off of that and I see someone there has the same problem I have. Any ideas?
You can also replace the feedURL with http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/spcrss.xml and receive severe weather info instead, such as severe thunderstorm watches, tornado watches etc.
Nice one !

Theme ? Not sure which part you are talking about ! The Desktop style is Baghira the dock bar is called ksmoothdock and they are all available here on kde-look. Hope this helps .
I checked the script and url is correct. I am getting no feed - where else to check? Would really like to have this going, well done.
fixed...just needed an update. Really handy this hurricane season.
Hope its of use to you, not much use to me though as I live in Scotland ! Not many Hurricanes here maybe 1 every 100 years or so . :) Although we do get the "Tail" end of some now and again. Thankyou for your comments.
Glad you got it working and find it useful,I don't have much cause to use it in Scotland ,not a Hurricane part of the world(at the moment anyway) but I thought others may use it now and again. Thanks for the comments !
Is it possible to use it for EU (and other) countries? Or is it limited to only USA (i guess "national" is applied to USA "national")
It is possible to use it for other countries but at the moment the feed only supports english and spanish and the Pacific and Atlantic big enough seas I suppose :) You just edit the address in the script "feed URL" and replace it with one of these Atlantic (Spanish): http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/index-at-sp.xml Eastern Pacific (English): http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/index-ep.xml Atlantic (English): http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/index-at.xml Default one! Hope this helps.
