This is a panel loosely inspired by the dock concept (NeXT Step, OS X). I often start my mail program only to find out I had another one minimized. A dock allows you to avoid that. What it has:
- A clock (with date). Had to be there
- Volume control (you need ossaudiodev, but I think it's included in the latest Python versions).
- A WiFi monitor.
- The dock
- You can launch/mimimize/focus/raise applications with it
- Supports task grouping and group focus/raise/etc
- DnD. You can drop a file onto a launcher and... . You can also hoover the cursor while dragging to focus an application (if it's running).
- A most recently used list. A number of programs that you've used recently are kept in the dock.
- Mail check. You need your mailboxes in maildir format. You are welcome to add support for other formats.

A word of caution. This panel requires a patch to superkaramba 0.33. The patch is included. Only use this if you know what you are doing, since it may break some existing themes for sk (though I doubt it). It may also require a little configuration/coding to get it working on your machine, so again, use it at your own risk. Superkaramba seems to have a few bugs itself (a memory leak, it crashes sometimes), so keep that in mind too.
