Orange for fun
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
Just a well colored theme for sunny days.. I miss such days in Germany, it's cold here now :-(
It is for 1024x768 screen resolution.
Wallpaper is from unknown. (anyway i wish to thank him for the great result of his job)
I use "Nuvolla" icons, "Plastic" & minimalistic ".NET-Style". Colors based on BeOS.It looks great with all "Keramik" style too, just try it.
* After downloading the .gz file, extract all files in the directory you want, then "right click" on .kth file and "install..".
If you want to download only the wallpaper, take a look at the last preview picture.
Keep on having fun ;-) Last changelog:

For the "blue" users who like my "Orange for fun" theme, i added now an optional blue version(not mine, it's from the same unknown artist) Switch the color settings also to blue, then you have "blue for fun" theme, and you are "blue for ever"
Have fun !-)

I used the KDE default color scheme and it gave me a nice blue/gray. With your theme changing to the .net style everything looks crisp and neat. My default now. This is the first theme I installed but it is well balanced. Everything looks like it shipped with the OS.
excellent theme! I used these colors and this wallpaper and placed in the Universe Crimson 1.1.1 theme... It was very pretty!
I Love it really!!!! Keep up the good work!!!
it looks good and I'll try it soon :)
I'm a Linux fan.a beginner. My OS is "MagicLinux".It's made by many Linux fans in China.I like it!If you like it you can try it.Hava fun!
Hi, When trying this in Mandriva 2006, icons on the toolbar for konqueror disappear. Do you have an updated version?
Hi! What is this .kth file? Is it a binary file? I try to run it under my Mandrake 10.1 system but it doesn't work! Any help? Thanks in advance.
a KTH is a theme file. They are binary.
Sorry - forgot to mention: You asked how to use the KTH. It is written in instructions at the web page top: * After downloading the .gz file, extract all files in the directory you want, then "right click" on .kth file and "install..".
"Right click" and choose "install". Ok, but I don't have this choice in my menu. For which linux distribution is it working for? Which program (from the command line) do I have to start to install .kth?
Hello! Try this: copy directory "Orange_for_fun"(after extract) in "/home/your_username/.kde/share/apps/kthememanager/themes/" --REPLACE "your_name" with your login name-- ! then copy "Orange_for_fun.kth" in "/home/your_username/.kde/share/apps/kthememanager/themes/" --REPLACE "your_name" with your login name-- ! Then it will be under: "/home/your_username/.kde/share/apps/kthememanager/themes/" one new directory: "/home/your_username/.kde/share/apps/kthememanager/themes/Orange_for_fun" and one new file: "Orange_for_fun.kth" The file "Orange_for_fun.kth" must be direct under "/home/your_username/.kde/share/apps/kthememanager/themes/" !, and not in "/home/your_username/.kde/share/apps/kthememanager/themes/Orange_for_fun" Then the new Theme must be active in KDE Control. I hope it's working. (I'm use KDE 3.3 under Mandrake 10.2 (Mandriva LE 2005) Let me know if you get it. Thanks. :-) daniel
After extracting your files - open Control Center (not MCC but the one to customize your desktop). From there go to Appearance and Themes, then Theme Manager, next click Install New Theme. From that place navigate to where you extracted the KTH file and choose that KTH file. Finally, pick "Orange for fun" from the list and Apply.
Thanks ! You have right ! It is the easyest way to install it!
Do you speak german ?! ("Spritz"). I'm living in Munich. Grüße !
A *very* nice change of pace from the unending themes of various "blue" styles. Thank you. BTW, rather than chosing "Styles" I found it in "Themes". Go figure.
