can't download...
I've installed Luna with the following commands: ./configure --prefix=`kde-config --prefix` --with-qt-dir=/usr/lib/qt3/lib64 --with-qt-includes=/usr/lib/qt3/include --with-qt-libraries=/usr/lib/qt3/lib64 --enable-libsuffix=64 make sudo make install ----- I can't find luna entry in kcontrol --> window decorations. What's wrong? I'm using OpenSUSE 10.3 x86_64, KDE 3.5.8
Now it works! I've uninstalled kde_xp theme from k control, and then suddenly the entry appear in the windows decoration list. I think that theme was making some kind of conflict with AKDC. Catch ya!
Please upload either a project page to berlios or correct the link :)
I can't find this theme in kcontrol after I have instaleld it
The blue Luna decoration crashes KControl every time a go to Appearance & Themes > Window Decorations in order to get rid of it... The irony...
its the frickin' WinXP window decoration, why do you think I stopped using it?!?!
And the only ones I can find for this theme don't work with the latest Qt libraries. The one thing I dislike about KDE is you have to be a freakin programmer to install themes. In GNOME you can just drag and drop tarballs....
Corrrect me if I'm wrong, but is that because Gnome WM themes don't have executable binaries in them? KDE has drag-and-drop archive installation for some things like icon themes.
all you need to do is: extract change to directory ./configure make make install and you're done.
Like I said.... I need a .deb pkg.
I'm using the soft crystal theme. But I wish the aktive window wouldn't be blue but like the inaktive window (like icewm kristallklear). I would have changed the graphics myself but - I don't find any graphics in the package... How can I change the graphics?
Any one was able to edit the graphics of this theme? Thanks,
It's a set of themes I would definitely like to install on my machine. However unfortunately they are ridden by bugs :-((
Aren't there already enough windecos that immitate winxp's out there? I really don't want my windeco to look like I'm using windows when I'm using linux. In my opinion the windows xp theme is very ugly and imitating it in a windeco is slightly unoriginal. (to all those planning windows immitation themes or windecos: can you please use your creative genius to come up with something original?) and for the other 3 themes, I like them alot, very slick and very nice work.
but mimicking any other OS is OK then?
Unfortunately I noticed three issues with this style: - the control center crashes.. :-( - the style does not display the "what is this button" well when it's moved to the right side. - all new styles use a "configure" button as of kde 3.2 (or 3.3?) AKDC still displays all configuration options in the main dialog. I hope you can fix these issues. But this doesn't stop me from using this style already.. because it looks awsome!! and gives my desktop a refreshing look!! This is the crash backtrace: Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1". I love the corona theme, especially the huge size one. But there are three things I dislike and consider as bugs: 1. in the small (normal) view the help button is shown with a little square around it. That's ugly and doesn't fit the look of the other buttons. In the huge view it is ok. 2. using the huge size the upper side of the window isn't resize-sensitive. I can only grab and resize the window with the cursor where the stuck out part of the title bar ist :(( 3. It is not possible to display the menu- and the sticky-button in the title bar :( Or are those bugs of the debian package?
hi i try to: ./configure ./make ./make install (as root) and in the Control Panel don't appear this WD. why? what I have to do?
try to add a prefix: ./configure --prefix=`kde-config --prefix`
Hey, it lack of few things: 1) Luna should have an option If I want shadow under active and nonative title or just on active (like in XP). 2) Menu button is not working :(. Great Job! LD
I like this stylish decoration a lot! But I do miss two buttons: the help-button on the right and the sticky-button on the left. It is not possible to add these buttons via kcontrol. Can someone please tell me how to add them? Sometimes there is a small round help button on the left in the middle between middle and left but it doesn't look good and it is not always there.
Everything looks great, but after corona is compiled and installed, when I select in in kcontrol->Window Decorations it crashes. If you would like to see the crash output let me know.
i'd love to download some of these, but i'm asked for an ftp login/pass.
