Description: Icon theme inherited from Ultra Flat Icons with some gradient added and new system folders. Mimetypes icons come from Emerald icon theme by Vinceliuice, some apps icons and color scheme come from 'El General' discontinued theme by Fabián Alexis. Should work with most distributions, please do not hesitate to comment or ask for icons.
Unpack in /usr/share/icons, or in ~/.icons, or use Noobslabs PPA : sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/icons2 sudo apt-get update sudo apt install revival-iconsLast changelog:
10Please do not abandon the development of these icons because they are still beautiful and practical. It may be worth adding more colors for catalogues.
Hi, thanks for your message.
I'll try to keep this icon theme alive, but unfortunately the time is missing.
Please tell me which icons and colors are missing, I'll take a look
Love it! Looks really nice! Just wishes the steam icon looked a bit more like the original, but thats just me. Also would be cool if the Linux Mint apps store had it's own icon, right now it just has the stock-gnome image which is kinda.. booring.
Great work! keep it up! :)
Hi, I'm using the Revival Icons with the Flatabulous Gtk theme on Unity, Ubuntu 14.04. I really love the fine and sophisticated appearance of your icons!
I found that the panel indicator icons of fcitx input method are missing (or not correctly displayed).
As far as I have confirmed, the icons for fcitx-hangul (Korean) and fcitx-pinyin (Chinese) are incorrectly substituted for the Text Entry icon in the System Settings (i. e. the icon of the 'A' key). Each of them should be the unique icon symbolizing yin yang (for Korean) and the Chinese character 拼 (for Chinese).
Because the same icon is used for two different input methods, it is somehow difficult to distinguish which IM I am using.
FYI, the indicator icons I mentioned are displayed correctly with the default Ubuntu Mono icon theme.
I hope that the missing indicator icons will be appropriately displayed through the further updates. Thank you.
Yep, it seems that gnome look has some issues today...

Greetings. First to say that this is beautiful icon theme. Fits well with zukitwo gtk theme. Thanks and keep with the good work.
Just to mention that volume icon in systray is missing. I haven't seen that someone is complaining about that. Maybe it's just the case on my PC ( Manjaro XFCE).
Also playback icons in deadbeef are from numix-icons and they are bit ugly, so can you please change them.
Also some icons request:
Palemoon, Stellarium, Hedgewars, ScummVM, Wesnoth, OpenRA, FBReader.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Luckybackup and GTKhash are already included in the theme, and they apply under gnome and unity.
Maybe these icons are hard coded or they use a different icon name than in gnome.
I need you to open the related .desktop files located in /usr/share/applications with gedit, and tell me the name of the icon for the app.
Ex : icon=luckybackup.svg or something similar.
When the extension is .png or if there's a path like /usr/share/pixmaps/xxx.xcf or png, you will have to modify the .desktop file by yourself as root, in order to make it match the name of the icon in revival/apps/scalable.
I will take a look to include the others icons requested :)
Ok, I'm running Cinnamon on Manjaro. I don't have any .desktop files located in usr/share/applications (hidden files enabled) just the applications themselves, which gedit won't open. What I did was just manually change the icons through the menu editor.
The applications you see in /usr/share/applications are actually .desktop files.
If you open text edit and then drag and drop any app on it, you will see that it's only a text file ;)
I can't upload a screenshot here, but using the blue version on Manjaro Cinnamon. The Documents folder in the home directory is a different colored blue than the other folder icons. It's more of a traditional blue rather than the awesome aqua that the other folder icons are. I haven't tested on another DE or Distro, but this is the case on my current setup.
No problem, thank you for the update, that was fast! I'm gonna take the liberty again to request a grey folder version (that would be awesome). I'm in love with this icon pack, my favorite one by far. It's fully replaces my go to Vibrantly-Simple. Thanks again.
Glad to hear that you like it ! Vibrantly-simple is still an excellent theme, far more professional than mine.
Concerning the grey folders, they will come with an update, but later (it's not the priority at this time ). Please be patient ;)
Thank you very much for your support :)
These are really nice icons, using them on Manjaro Cinnamon. I would love to request a set with grey folders. Hopefully someone can build an AUR package for Arch/Manjaro users. Thanks again for these.

I noticed that the problem could be related to fcitx itself... as I changed the respective config files and it was resolved. Sorry for confusion.
Been trying to download the update, not sure if the links are broken, but clicking on them freezes up Gnome-look.org.

Hi, Thanks for these kind words. I'll take care of your requests, major update is coming soon ;)
Here's my missing icon request list: LuckyBackup (rsync tool, awesome program), Enpass (password manager), Superbeam (PC to Android wireless), and Gtk-Hash (checksum tool). Thanks again.

Learn a new trick every day! Yes they are png files...

Hi, Thanks for your feedback. I'll take a look and will include a fix into the next update :)
The theme has been updated, may thanks ;)
