The title is gtk-theme-swith. Shouldn't it be gtk-theme-switCh? ;) Why noone else noticed this? It is hard to find this app because search for " gtk-theme-switch" returns 0 results.
> Why noone else noticed this? Well, I, for one, did :P
This is hardly new. Or am I missing something? It was posted at freshmeat in July 2000. http://freshmeat.net/projects/gtkthemeswitch/ Screenshots: http://www.muhri.net/nav.php3?node=gts Something else I'd love to see from Muhri (or anyone else) is a mini app to let me switch the gnome icon theme without the gnomecc.
the old version does not work with new gtk2.4 and it is not maintained. This is my version of gtk-theme-switch that ignore non gtk themes in /usr/share/themes/ and include kde/config/gtkrc. In this version I have corrected some bugs.
This tiny tool is very usefull. It would be realy good to integrate a "GTK Style" selection in kcontrol. Could you develop a kcm module for that? Those modules are easiely made with kdevelop.
Sorry for shamelessly promoting my own stuff, but you could try GtkQt (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=6954) The idea being to select a Gtk theme based upon the current KDE theme.
This doesn't fir my needs. Perhaps somday I will make a kcm if nobody has made this.
